Ran out with my Dad and son Saturday morning, the current in our spot just wasn’t in our favor. It took up to 8 oz of lead to hold bottom which put the extremely efficient blackfish jigs back in the bag in favor for traditional Hi/Lo rigs. When we were able to hold bottom we managed a few hits but only caught two fish. My dad hooked into a 10# blackfish and I managed to bring in a 15″ one just an inch shy. Now that blackfish is over its time to play with stripers again until Weakfish are in and Fluke open.
